The roaming page at stc lists its stc roam bundles, and the clearest of them is the Gulf bundle: unlimited internet across the GCC states, at three prices depending on duration.
The prices as published
- One day — three dinars. Activation code GCC1 sent to 102, cancellation DGCC1.
- Three days — six dinars. Code GCC3, cancellation DGCC3.
- Seven days — nine dinars. Code GCC7, cancellation DGCC7.
The prices are identical for prepaid and postpaid, with no difference.
The clause to read twice
Auto-renewal applies to the one-day postpaid bundle only. That one activates itself when you leave Kuwait and keeps renewing while you are away. Every other bundle, including all prepaid ones, is activated manually each time. Which means the apparently cheapest day bundle is the only one that can repeat on you without your asking.
“Unlimited” is not without a ceiling
The company says on its FAQ page that the Gulf and Turkey bundles carry a daily ceiling of 100 GB, while the global bundles have no daily cap. Coverage is stated at more than 150 countries.
Where to activate
From the mystc app, from the company website, by visiting a branch, or by calling 102. Activation is possible before you travel rather than only after, and that is the safer route: billing starts from the first connection to a foreign network.
