Kuwait One — KWT.ONE — is a magazine about daily life in Kuwait, published in Arabic and English. It is where you ask a question about Kuwait and find an answer written in figures rather than impressions: what a fee costs, when a place opens, which papers a transaction needs, what is on this weekend, and what a new car actually sells for.
It is not a news site and not a government portal. It is a guide to the practical Kuwait — what is happening, what to do, how to do it yourself, and where it all came from.

Events, activities and what to do at the weekend
Kuwait One publishes listings and guides for exhibitions, concerts, festivals, workshops, markets, family days and seasonal openings, alongside evergreen guides to places worth a visit — museums, reserves, beaches, malls, islands and old markets. Every listing carries the ticket price, the opening hours, the location and the entry condition, taken from the organiser’s own channels, and it is published before the date, not after it. Those are the Weekend and Now sections.
Restaurants and food
New openings, kitchens worth knowing, branches, delivery, prices where the restaurant publishes them, and the detail nobody else writes down — what the kitchen actually does. That is Food.
Car prices in Kuwait
A price database, not an article: more than 300 new models from every dealer in Kuwait, with the dealer’s own published price, trim-level specifications from the Kuwait or Gulf market, the manufacturer’s brochure to download, and side-by-side comparison. Prices are refreshed twice a month. That is Cars.
How things work
A government transaction, a document required, a fee to pay, a form to fill in. Numbered steps from Kuwait’s official portal and from the bodies themselves, including what usually goes unsaid: the condition that stops the transaction, and the box the table leaves empty. That is How To, with Offers for anything carrying a price or a discount.
Where it came from
The building, the street, the trade, the habit, the name — social history rather than official narrative. That is Heritage, and with it On This Day: one post every night about what happened in Kuwait on that date.
Technology
Covered globally, not only in Kuwait, because the phone in your pocket is the same one everywhere. That is Tech.
How we work
- Every fact comes from a first source. The official body, the organiser’s own account, the restaurant’s own site, the dealer’s own price list. A directory is used to find something; then its source is opened and the piece is written from that.
- The number before the description. We do not say “reasonably priced”; we say how much, and on what date the price was read.
- Anything with a date is published before that date. A guide comes ahead of the event, not after it.
- Real photographs. Our own photography first, then the organiser’s or dealer’s own material with a credit line. No generated images.
- The source is written at the end of every post, so anyone can check it.
Two editions
The English edition is written for an English-language reader in Kuwait — residents, visitors and anyone arriving — not translated word for word from the Arabic. The same sources, the same rules, the same figures, read out in a different language. The Arabic edition is at kwt.one.
The name
The site lives on the domain kwt.one and is read Kuwait One. In Arabic it is كويت ون; it was previously known as مقالات الكويت — the same name, the same place.
