Ooredoo bundles: five dinars separates 300 GB from unlimited

And the student roaming SIM is an exact copy of the diplomat one, at ninety-nine dinars a year.

The offers page on Ooredoo’s online store shows only four cards, but comparing them reveals two things: two bundles identical in everything except one line, and two SIMs identical in everything except their name.

The two monthly bundles

  • The twenty-dinar bundle: unlimited 5G+ internet, unlimited on-net minutes, 1,500 local minutes, unlimited YouTube and social media, ten international minutes, and one gigabyte of roaming. Valid thirty days.
  • The fifteen-dinar bundle: the same lines word for word, except that the internet is 300 GB instead of unlimited.

Which means the extra five dinars buys exactly one thing: lifting the internet ceiling. Everything else is identical, so anyone who does not pass 300 GB a month is paying a difference for a ceiling they never reach.

The two roaming SIMs

The page carries two SIMs: one badged for diplomats, the other for students. Their contents are the same:

  • 5 GB of roaming internet for thirty days.
  • 100 GB of local 5G internet for thirty days.
  • Unlimited local minutes for thirty days.
  • 1,800 incoming roaming minutes for thirty days.
  • Coverage in more than eighty countries, and a full year of validity.

The price is the same too: KD 99 a year for both. The name is the only difference the page declares.

What the page does not say

There is no announced end date for any of the four, and no commitment period written on the offer card itself. This offers page is separate from the full bundles page on the store, so what you cannot find here may be there.
