A Kuwaiti chicken chain puts one sentence on the front of its website before it shows a single item: our chicken is 100 per cent Kuwaiti fresh from our own farms. The sentence is the site’s own, and it is everything it says about where the bird comes from.

The network

The branches page on the official site lists fifty-nine shops. They run from Kabd, Saad Al-Abdullah and Jahra Industrial in the north down to Abu Halifa, Ahmadi and Wafra Residential in the south, with one shop in the airport.

Salmiya alone has four addresses: Al-Sayed Yassin, Block 12, Blajat Street and Bahrain Street. Jahra also has four.

Prices as they stand on the menu

Crispy bucket, twenty pieces at 8.500 dinars; sixteen pieces at 6.950.

Combo, twenty-four pieces at 13.450 dinars, with the grilled version at the same count and the same price.

Half a grilled chicken with rice at 2.250, and pulled chicken with rice at the same. Saffron rice on its own at 950 fils.

From the sandwiches: brioche burger at 2 dinars, poori fillet at 2.500, and the Giant at 2.950.

Ordering

The site states that an order reaching 5 dinars or more arrives with no delivery charge, and offers collection from the shop as an alternative.
