A Birthday at the Scientific Center: Three Hundred Dinars, and the Extras Sit On Top
Twenty-five guests with five free, a hard ceiling of thirty-five, and parties run Saturdays from eleven until two.
The birthday booking page at the Scientific Center now states the base package price outright: three hundred dinars, with twenty per cent off for members. The extras are priced individually on top of that figure, so a budget here is built from two numbers, not one.
What the base package includes
- Free play stations: arts and crafts, sensory play, and science-based activities.
- A private aquarium safari tour.
- A private party room, with staff assigned to the party.
- Disposable party goods: napkins, plates and dishes.
- A birthday announcement board placed outside Discovery Place.
- Free parking for one car for the hosting family.
The package price
Three hundred dinars for the base package, with twenty per cent off for Scientific Center members — on the package alone, not on the extras.
The extras, all priced
- An interactive science experiment led by the birthday child: 25 dinars.
- A guest bag: 4 dinars each.
- A child’s meal: 2.500 dinars each.
- A pastry basket for adults, twenty-four pieces: 10 dinars.
- A drinks station for adults with water, juice, coffee and tea: 15 dinars.
- Cupcakes with 3D printing, forty pieces: 60 dinars.
- Helium balloons, thirty of them: 20 dinars.
- A photographer for the event, a hundred digital images: 100 dinars.
Numbers and timing
The package covers twenty-five guests, children and adults together, plus five free: the birthday child and four family members. Ten more guests can be added at seven dinars each, and the maximum inside the party space is thirty-five, with no exceptions.
The timing is tight: parties run on Saturdays only, from eleven in the morning to two in the afternoon. Which means bookings compete for one window a week.
A quick sum
Thirty children means five extra guests at up to thirty-five dinars, their meals at seventy-five, and their bags at a hundred and twenty. So the extras alone pass two hundred dinars, and the three hundred for the package sits above that: the whole party comes to roughly five hundred and thirty.
