The weekly offers page at Jarir Bookstore Kuwait shows the price before the discount and after it, side by side. That format is what makes comparison possible, because the displayed figure alone says nothing.
The oddity in one line
Two phones starting at nearly the same price:
- Galaxy S26 Ultra, 256GB: from 414.000 to 299.900.
- iPhone 17 Pro, 256GB: from 409.900 to 354.900.
The gap in the listed price between them is four dinars. The discount, though, is 114.100 on the first and fifty-five on the second. So the two leave the page fifty-five dinars apart.

What the ordering tells you
The highest percentage is not on the dearest item. The tablet at seventy dinars is cut twenty-one per cent, while the phone at five hundred and twenty is cut fifteen. A big number in dinars does not necessarily mean the better deal proportionally.
Before you do the sums
The page carries other items — routers, headphones, smart bulbs — with no before-price, so those are not part of the week’s offers even though they appear on the same page. And the list publishes no end date, so checking before buying is necessary.
