Animals Garden (AnimalsGarden.com) has launched: a worldwide directory of pet-care services with booking built in, and Kuwait is in it from day one. The idea is one place for vets, groomers, boarding, trainers and pet shops — search by service and area, compare, then book.
What is listed in Kuwait
A Kuwait search returns 35 businesses across ten areas, most of them in Farwaniya (21), then Kuwait City, Sabah Al Salem, Al Jahra, Salmiya, Hawalli, Mahboula, Al Ahmadi, Jabriya and Mubarak Al Kabeer. By service: 16 pet shops, 11 veterinary clinics and health centres, 3 boarding places and 3 groomers. Among the names: Petzone with its twelve branches, AlKhalid Clinic in Hawalli and Kuwait Pet Resort in Al Jahra.
These were seeded from open data so that the first search is useful. They carry an “unclaimed” label and cannot be booked until the owner claims and verifies the profile — the directory starts full, and booking starts with the first clinic that steps in.
A profile for every pet
What sets it apart from a phone directory is the pet profile: breed, age, allergies, vaccinations, temperament, the usual vet and an emergency contact, entered once. Medical details are private by default and shared only with the business you book, per pet. One sign-in covers a pet-parent account and a business storefront, and a business with several branches appears as one profile with several locations.
What it deliberately does not do
Three clear lines: no payments through the platform — you pay the business directly; no buying or selling of animals; and no paid placement in search results. Businesses can reply to reviews but cannot delete them.
For clinics and shops
Listing is free. A clinic or shop claims its profile, verifies it, then takes booking requests online and sets its available times. The platform is built for every country from the start and opens city by city; worldwide it lists more than 13,000 businesses, most in the UK, Australia and Canada, and in the Gulf the UAE (149), Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
