The Deanship of Admission and Registration at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training has opened collection of the fees owed by students enrolled on the paid-tuition scheme. The window is short and pinned to a date, an hour and a single building — it is not open across the term.
The window
It runs from Sunday 4 October to Thursday 8 October. Payment is taken between 9am and 1pm, and not after.
How much is due now
The deanship asked students to settle half of what they owe during this period, not the full amount. Anyone who turns up with the whole sum pays half of it; anyone who assumed they had to raise the lot first has over-prepared.
How it is paid
By K-Net debit card only. The deanship stated that cash is not accepted — worth noting, because a student who arrives with notes leaves without having paid, and has burned one of only five days.
Where
In Adailiya, building 2, second floor, at the Registrar General’s office. Payment is in person at that one location: there is no online portal for it and no other branch.
What this adds up to
Five working days, four hours in each, one location, one accepted card. Anyone on the paid-tuition scheme is better off fixing a day at the start of the week than leaving it to Thursday, because a single day left in hand does not absorb a card that will not read or a queue at one counter.
