The Ministry of Social Affairs will re-run the exam for supervisory jobs in Kuwait’s cooperative societies on Saturday 10 October. Every applicant sits it again, including those who took the first one.
When and where
3pm to 4pm at the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) in Mubarak Al-Abdullah. Room N3-201-A, entrance through Gate 1.
What to bring, and when to arrive
Be there half an hour before the start, with your original civil ID or another official proof of identity.
The doors close at 3pm and nobody is let in after the exam begins. Allow time for traffic and for parking on campus.
Why it is being repeated
The first sitting ended with almost every Kuwaiti applicant failing, followed by a wave of complaints. Social Affairs Minister Dr Amthal Al-Huwailah ordered a neutral inquiry. She says the new exam will follow published rules, with questions tied to the announced study material and to the jobs on offer, and with audio and video monitoring in the hall.
