Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has opened appeals against its latest round of school transfers for teachers and supervisory staff. Appeals are taken online only, from Wednesday 7 October 2026 to Friday 9 October.
Who can appeal
Only staff named in the transfer decisions issued on 6 October. That day the ministry announced 8,703 transfer decisions as part of a plan to rebalance staff between schools: 8,310 for teachers and 393 for holders of supervisory posts, with an average move of 11.2 kilometres.
How to file
Through the ministry’s website, moe.edu.kw. The platform lets you state your reasons and then track the request. No paper documents and no visit to the ministry are needed. The ministry says every request will be reviewed against its published criteria.
What to do
If you received a transfer on 6 October and have grounds to contest it, file before the window shuts on 9 October and keep the request number. Some teachers went to the ministry building in person this week to ask about the decisions; the ministry says the online appeal is the channel that counts.
