Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works is closing parts of Abdulaziz bin Baz Street (Street 10) in Yarmouk to lay a new top layer of asphalt. The closure starts at 6pm on Thursday 8 October 2026 and ends at 6pm on Saturday 10 October.
What is closed
- Abdulaziz bin Baz Street (Street 10), from the roundabout after the Street 3 exit in Block 4, heading towards the main co-op.
- The entry of Al-Thaqib Street (Street 20) towards Road 55, the Airport Road, from the Street 4 side of Block 4 to the next roundabout.
What it means for you
If you live in Yarmouk, or cut through it to the co-op or the Airport Road on Thursday evening, Friday or Saturday, plan another route inside the area and follow the signs on site. The announcement did not name a set diversion.
