Saturday 24 October: a one-hour Teams lesson for every grade at 10am

Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has told state schools to run a one-hour remote lesson on Microsoft Teams on Saturday 24 October 2026, starting at 10am, following timetables it has sent to schools.

The instruction covers schools in all education districts as well as religious and special-education schools. The ministry says the aim is to get pupils used to logging in and taking part in online learning.

What to do before Saturday

Schools have been asked to prepare pupils and make sure they can get into Teams and attend. At home, that means:

• Make sure your child knows their school Teams login, and try it before Saturday.
• Have a charged device and a steady connection ready before 10am.
• Watch for instructions from the school or class teacher about the lesson.
