Dream Factory, Salmiya: ten escape rooms and sixty minutes on the clock
Book online; the per-head price drops as the group grows, from KD 16 for a pair to KD 13 for five players or more.
Dream Factory runs ten escape rooms at the Boulevard Mall on Qatar Street, Block 8, Salmiya. A team is locked in, hunts for clues and works through puzzles to get out within an hour.
The rooms
Each room has its own plot. In Space War you have to reach the cockpit before a meteor hits Earth; in Chocolate Factory the main machine has failed and you have an hour to stop it; in Lost City of Atlantis you search for the sea god’s trident before the city sinks; Secret of Kryptos is built around a code that has resisted solving for decades. Some rooms lean on horror, such as Haunted Mansion and Soul, so families should read the room description before booking.
Rooms take two to ten players, except Space War, which needs at least three.
Prices, per person
- 2 players: KD 16
- 3 players: KD 15
- 4 players: KD 14
- 5 or more: KD 13, so a team of five pays KD 65
Friday 30 October
The online booking calendar shows Friday sessions starting at 11:30am and then every hour and a half, with the last one running 10pm to 11pm.
Before you go
- Arrive 15 minutes before your session.
- Bookings are confirmed by phone or email, and unanswered ones are cancelled, so enter your number carefully.
- No special clothing is needed; leave bags and extras outside if you can.
- Rooms are monitored by camera and you can leave at any time.
