You have cancelled a trip and the ticket is with Kuwait Airways. The first question is not how much you will get back. It is who you should be asking, because the airline routes refund requests by where the ticket was bought, not by what kind of ticket it is.
Start with the point of sale
Booked on the airline’s website or its app: use Manage Booking on the same site. It opens the reservation from its reference and shows what can be done with it.

The refund form, field by field
The airline keeps a dedicated refund request form on its site. It opens with two fields — booking reference (the PNR) and last name — and then asks for:
- contact name;
- mobile number;
- email address, and a second box to confirm it;
- remarks, meaning your reason for the request;
- address, with a tick box to apply one address to every passenger on the booking.
Nothing is submitted until you accept the terms and conditions.
What decides the amount
The airline states on the form that every refund request is subject to the fare rules printed on the issued ticket, and that its refund policy is applied in line with those rules. That is where the number comes from — not from the form. The cheapest fare classes may not refund in cash at all; flexible ones refund with a deduction.
Before you send it
Have the booking reference and ticket number in front of you, write the reason as a sentence rather than a single word, and check the email address twice — it is the only reply channel you fill in yourself. Then watch that inbox, because that is where the answer lands.
