What does a character birthday cake actually cost in Kuwait? The question gets asked often and answered publicly almost never. The Cake Shop publishes its full price list in dinars, so we take it as it stands.
Character cakes
K Pop 25 dinars. Hot Wheels 25. Spider Man 25. The Harry Potter owl 35. The dinosaur 40.
So the same single bracket — a child’s birthday cake — runs from twenty-five to forty dinars. The difference is not necessarily size but the work the shape demands.
Cupcakes are sold by the set
Not by the piece. The Heros, Finding Nemo, Roblox and Mermaid Tail sets are 24 dinars each.
Among the newer items: crayon cupcakes at 18 dinars, and back-to-school brownies at 15.
The catalogue
Nineteen sections, among them cake pops, cake bombs, rice krispy treats, chocolate-dipped strawberries, a do-it-yourself section, ice cream cake and waffle cone.
And sixteen flavours to choose from across the store: chocolate, vanilla, red velvet, rainbow, birthday cake, mix, peanut butter, carrot, cotton candy, pumpkin, coffee, banana, German chocolate, cinnamon carrot, Oreo and Lotus.
Cakes are split into classic, kids’ birthday, customised and occasional, with seasonal sets for New Year and festive, Valentine’s and Hala February.
The address
One address and no branches: Shuwaikh Industrial 3, block 1, street 78, building 232, shop 2. Customer care 9665 3202.
What we do not know
The site does not say who owns the shop or where the brand is from, and its about page does not load. So we call it a shop in Kuwait rather than a Kuwaiti brand, because nothing establishes that.
We do not know the founding year, the notice needed before collection, the delivery fee, or whether the prices carry any further charges.
