Mohamed Fadl Shaker opens the new cultural season at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre on Thursday evening, singing his father’s songs alongside his own.

- Where: the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ali Concert Hall, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre.
- When: Thursday 10 September, 8pm.
- Length: 135 minutes, including a 30-minute interval.
- Tickets: from KD 15, through tickets.jacc-kw.com.
- Age: eight and over. Dress: business casual.
After that night the centre’s programme is empty from Thursday to Saturday; its next dates are 14, 18, 24 and 25 September.
