Good For Me is KDD’s no-added-sugar line, made with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences and the Dasman Diabetes Institute, and tested in a clinical trial before it reached the freezers.

What the trial found
A randomised cross-over trial at the Dasman Diabetes Institute on twelve participants with type 2 diabetes, mean age fifty-eight, with a seven-day washout between arms. At 120 minutes blood glucose was 8.5 against 10.0 mmol/L for the regular product, and plasma insulin 19.3 against 34.5 IU/L. Published in Frontiers in Nutrition on 16 July 2024 and funded by KFAS.
What we could not verify
The per-serving nutrition panel is not in the body of the paper, so there is no weight, calorie count or sugar figure per piece. The two sticks added in July 2026 carry different prices in the online shop and in a secondary source; the shop’s figure is the one used here. Two nougat lines show as out of stock.
