Car technology today is closer to electronics than to mechanics alone. The Kuwait Automotive Academy is aimed at young Kuwaitis who want to work in the sector professionally, with a programme of roughly a year that combines technical and practical skills with management ones.
The conditions
- Being a Kuwaiti national.
- Full availability for the programme. This is the heaviest clause: it is not an evening course you fit around a job.
- Good English — reading, writing and conversation.
- Passing the interview and the online language test.
- Passing a technical test set as part of the admission route.

- A personal photograph.
- The employment application form, filled in.
- Certificate of nationality.
- Passport.
- Birth certificate.
- Academic certificates.
- Experience certificates, if any.

Through the academy’s official website, not in person. And the fee: none.
What the conditions mean in practice
Three requirements arriving together — total availability, conversational English, and two tests before admission — mean the door is open but the sieve is fine. Anyone thinking of applying should deal with the language first: it is the only condition that can be improved before applying, without waiting for anything.
