The longest open destination in Kuwait is not a building or a museum but a strip of coast. The Touristic Enterprises Company describes it on its own site as running from Shaab to Bneid Al-Gar along nine kilometres of frontage on Arabian Gulf Street.

The company publishes no entry fee for it, because it is open public frontage. That sets it apart from the ticketed destinations on the same site, such as Green Island at KD 1.500.
What is on it
The company lists: marine clubs and public beaches, gardens and play areas, sports facilities, and restaurants and cafés from the simple to the expensive.
The Yacht Club sits on the same strip, with moorings for three hundred and forty-three boats, telephone 2565 1979. Note that its page contradicts itself on hours: the header says until 10pm and the body says until 11pm, so the telephone is the more reliable route.
The Fahaheel Marine Club has a marina for a hundred and ninety-four mid-size boats, is members only, and its telephone is 2371 8053.
What the company knows and what we do not
None of the company’s pages carries an update date, so the hours may be stale. It publishes no parking information and no prices for anything on the strip. And the nine-kilometre figure is the company’s prose, not a measured route.
Kuwait Municipality and the Public Authority for Agriculture, which set the rules for parks and beaches, could not be reached to check.
Why it suits the end of the day
Because most of its length has no shade in daylight, and the published hours run to 11pm. The strip is a long walk rather than a single destination: you enter at one point and leave at another, and you need no booking, no ticket and no appointment.
