Evening fog and a chance of light rain over the weekend, with highs near 38°C by Saturday
Visibility drops after dark in some areas and recovers in the early morning hours, while seas stay between one and three feet

Kuwait’s Meteorological Department expects a hot, humid and partly cloudy weekend, with a chance of scattered light rain and fog forming in the evenings over some areas. Nights will be warm to mild.
Dirar Al-Ali, the department’s acting director, told the Kuwait News Agency on Thursday 22 October 2026 that an upper-level low is extending over the country and building up low and medium cloud.
Day by day
- Thursday: highs of 34–36°C and an overnight low of 22–24°C. Scattered light rain is possible, with light fog in some areas after dark.
- Friday: highs of 35–37°C, lows of 21–23°C. A chance of light rain in the day and light fog at night.
- Saturday: highs of 36–38°C, lows of 20–22°C, with scattered cloud overnight.
When visibility drops
Fog forms in the evening and cuts horizontal visibility in some areas, then clears gradually in the first hours of the morning. Heat and humidity are highest along the coast.
Wind and sea
Winds are variable, mostly south-easterly on Thursday and Saturday and north-easterly on Friday, at 6–30 km/h. Seas are slight to moderate by day at one to three feet, easing to one to two feet on Friday and Saturday nights.
