Anyone wanting to bring a relative to Kuwait for treatment needs a visa called the entry visa for treatment inside Kuwait. It comes from the General Department of Immigration, and the fee is a fixed three dinars.
The document that comes before everything
The one practical requirement is not financial but documentary: an official letter confirming that one of the hospitals has accepted the applicant for treatment. Without that letter the file does not open at all, and anyone who goes to immigration first will be sent back to fetch it.
The rest of the documents
- A copy of the sponsor’s civil ID.
- A copy of the visitor’s passport, which must be valid.
No other conditions are published for the service: no minimum sponsor salary, and no restriction on the degree of relationship.
The steps
- Bring the documents.
- Go to the General Department of Immigration the sponsor falls under.
- Fill in the visa application form, which is published on the portal and can be downloaded before you set out.
- Pay the fee: three dinars, with no variable charge.
