Education Ministry staff can apply for bachelor’s scholarships until 7 November
Five plans and eleven majors including AI; applications go through the Taa platform, and edits lock two days before the close.

Kuwait’s Ministry of Education has opened applications for its own employees to study for a bachelor’s degree in 2026/2027, either on a paid scholarship or on unpaid study leave, in Kuwait or abroad. Applications are online only, through the Taa platform on the ministry’s website, and close at the end of Saturday 7 November 2026.
You can edit a draft application, or cancel it and apply again, during the window — but editing and cancelling stop two days before it closes, so check your details before then.
The five plans
- Scholarship for people with disabilities: exempt from the service and major conditions; a recent certificate from the Public Authority for Disability Affairs is required.
- Study leave at Kuwait University: eight majors — mathematics, physics, geology, biology, English, Arabic, philosophy and artificial intelligence. The secondary school certificate must be no more than two years old.
- Study leave at PAAET’s College of Basic Education: four majors — mathematics, English, Arabic and music education. Minimum secondary scores are 70% (recent certificates) or 80% (older ones) for men, and 75% or 80% for women; final cut-offs depend on the seats the college approves.
- Paid scholarship or unpaid study leave abroad or at a private university in Kuwait: eleven majors — the eight above plus music education, accounting and computer information systems.
All plans follow the ministry’s scholarship regulations and the study destination’s requirements. An application is cancelled if the major is unavailable or admission conditions are not met.
If the platform fails
During the window you can visit the General Department of Development in person: Jabriya, Block 2, Street 105, opposite Fahad Al-Duwairi Secondary School.
