Qatu Shawarea: a family comedy at the Girl Guides theatre in Bneid Al-Gar this weekend
A street cat learns to make friends in a Kuwaiti stage show; four performances Thursday to Saturday, seats from KD 15.

Qatu Shawarea (“Street Cat”) is a Kuwaiti comedy in Arabic aimed at families. Its hero is a quick-witted cat living on the street who learns, day by day, how to get out of trouble and make friends he never expected, and works out that courage, loyalty and teamwork are what carry him through. It plays at the Girl Guides Association theatre in Bneid Al-Gar, where it opened on 14 May and is still running.
