The Ministry of Public Works said on Sunday 4 October 2026 that crews are carrying out major maintenance on 13 main roads and in 42 residential areas across all six governorates from 3 to 8 October, under its new road-maintenance contracts.
Roads named by the ministry
- Abdali Road
- Subiya Road
- King Fahd Road
- King Faisal Road
- Fourth Ring Road
- Seventh Ring Road — resurfacing toward Fintas, according to Al-Qabas
Work also covers internal streets in residential areas in every governorate; the ministry did not list the areas.
What to do
If you drive one of these roads before 8 October, allow extra time and follow the diversions and work-zone signs on site.
