The Sky Cinemas Card: Twenty Dinars Comes Back in Full as Credit, and Top-ups Stop at 150

Five hundred points buys a ticket, and a replacement costs five if you lose it.

The Sky Cinemas card in Salmiya is bought at the box office for KD 20 and arrives credited with KD 20 of ticket balance. The purchase price comes back to you in full as credit; there is no issuing fee.

The numbers

  • Buying and topping up happen at the box office only.
  • The maximum top-up is KD 150 per card.
  • A replacement for a lost, stolen or damaged card costs KD 5, and only for a card already registered.
  • Every dinar spent earns 10 points, and 500 points buys a free ticket — so KD 50 of spending per free ticket.

Before you buy one

  • The card must be registered on the website under a customer account before use.
  • It works at the box office, the website, the kiosk and the mobile apps, for tickets only.
  • It cannot be used at the concession stand.
  • Telephone 22287999.

What the site does not publish

The ticket price itself does not appear on any page we could reach, so “KD 50 per free ticket” cannot be turned into a discount percentage. Prices appear only after seat selection. And no expiry is published for the points or for the card balance.
