Xcite’s back-to-school code ran out on 22 September. What has replaced it is narrower and simpler: 10% off selected Apple Mac computers with the code MAC10. The page states it ends at 11:59 PM on 26 September 2026, or earlier if it is withdrawn or eligible stock runs out.
What changed
The old code was a fixed cash amount per item, stepping from KD5 up to KD300 across a wide catalogue. This one is a percentage, applied separately to each eligible machine, and the terms limit it to the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini models featured on the offer page. Two conditions carry over unchanged: it works only through the website or app, with no in-store route, and the discount stays provisional until the delivery driver photographs your Civil ID alongside proof that you study, teach, or work for the Ministry of Education.
The prices as published
These are the page’s own was-and-now figures, before the code is applied:
- iMac 24-inch, M4, 16GB/256GB, green — 459.900 KD down to 329.900 KD
- iMac 24-inch (2024), M4, 16GB/512GB, green — 599.900 KD down to 499.900 KD
- MacBook Pro 14-inch (2024), M4 Pro, 24GB/1TB, silver — 819.900 KD down to 699.900 KD
- MacBook Pro 14-inch, M4 Max, 36GB/1TB, silver — 1,129.900 KD down to 899.900 KD
- MacBook Pro 16-inch, M4 Max, 48GB/1TB, silver — 1,399.900 KD down to 1,299.900 KD
The percentage comes off those numbers, not the original ones, and the final figure is never printed — it appears only in the basket. On the cheapest iMac that is roughly KD33; on the dearest MacBook, about KD30.
