The Energy Conference at Kuwait University: A Hundred and Forty Dinars Before 16 October

Thirty for a student, the main hall seats twelve hundred, and the dates are in November.

The conference centre at Sabah Al Salem University City hosts the ninth international conference on energy research and development in November. It is open by registration rather than invitation, and the fee changes with the date you register.

The dates

  • The conference: 17 to 19 November 2026.
  • Submission of lecture proposals: 30 September 2026.
  • Early registration: until 16 October 2026.

The fees

  • Early, until 16 October: a hundred and forty dinars.
  • After that: a hundred and eighty.
  • For a student: thirty dinars.

The fee covers the reception, meals, coffee breaks, conference material and its tours. A researcher coming from outside Kuwait to present an accepted paper is provided three nights of accommodation, and covers their own travel and registration.

At the conference centre at Sabah Al Salem University City. It has a main hall seating twelve hundred, two further halls of six hundred each, and several multi-use side rooms.

Who runs it

Organised by Kuwait University, with the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences and the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy taking part.

Its themes

Energy conversion and management, rationalising consumption, alternative fuels, policy and planning, cogeneration systems, air conditioning and refrigeration, environmental issues, sustainable development, renewable energy, storage, thermodynamics, and emerging technologies.
