On 1 September the Central Bank of Kuwait opened applications for the Strategic Initiative Accelerator Program at its Wolooj innovation hub, and invited Kuwaiti talent to submit proposals.

Applications are open from 1 September to 1 October 2026.

The conditions

The programme file on the bank’s site sets three bars: the applicant is a Kuwaiti national, is eighteen or older, and is not connected, directly or indirectly, to a fintech company or an existing financial institution. It is open to individuals only — not companies, and not teams.

What you can propose

A proposal has to sit under one of five themes: data analytics and predictive modelling, artificial intelligence, cyber security and digital trust and resilience, encryption and secure technologies, or digital transformation and emerging technologies.
