Agricultural extension courses for one dinar, and absence needs a written apology

The agricultural extension department at the Public Authority for Agriculture and Fish Resources opens its specialised courses and lectures to citizens, not only to its own technicians and engineers. The two advertised fields are protected agriculture and fruit trees.

The only document required

A copy of your civil ID. Nothing else.

The fee

One dinar, fixed rather than variable. Which is to say the course is not sold at a price; the applicant pays an administrative fee.

The steps

1. Bring a copy of your civil ID.
2. Go to the agricultural extension department — educational courses section at the authority.
3. Fill in the nomination form for a training course for citizens, a form published on Kuwait’s portal.
4. Pay the fee due.

The condition worth reading twice

The seat is not without obligation. The authority requires attendance at the appointed time, and if that becomes impossible you must submit a formal written apology explaining why, notifying the department far enough in advance. For staff — technicians and engineers — breaching this clause is referred to legal affairs.

Which means silently not turning up is not an option here, and this is not treated the way a private course is when an applicant simply misses it.
