Five days at the Arena in 360 Mall, gathering everyone who builds or fits out a house under one roof. The “Beity” building expo returns for its sixth edition in September, and the detail that ruins the visit if you miss it is that one of the five days opens late.
The dates
- Tuesday 8 September to Saturday 12 September 2026.
- Daily hours: 10 in the morning to 10 at night.
- Except Friday 11 September: it opens at 1 in the afternoon and closes at 10 at night.
- Venue: Arena Kuwait and the Grand Hyatt Kuwait, at 360 Mall.
Three hours’ difference on the Friday is not a small detail: Friday is usually the day a family plans a morning visit. Anyone heading there before noon that day finds the doors shut.
What is on show
The expo is specialist rather than general. Exhibitors cover building and construction, real estate, design, furniture, home fittings and housing services. So it is an expo for anyone in the middle of a house project: a plot waiting on a contractor, a house needing interior design, or fittings whose owner has not settled on a supplier.
A number of bodies and institutions connected to the housing and development sector also take part, and that is the section which matters more to someone waiting on a housing application than to someone shopping for furniture.
How to come away with something
An expo this size eats time in walking rather than asking. Anyone arriving with a short list — a contractor, a kitchen, doors, say — leaves with three comparable quotes. Anyone arriving without a list leaves with a bag of catalogues.
Take the measurements of the house or the plot, photographs of the space you want fitted out, and a WhatsApp number to receive quotes on. And before signing anything at the expo itself, ask what the price is outside the show days — some “expo prices” hold afterwards.
