Forty thousand students expected across four days, with local and international universities under one roof. The “Dirasati” expo returns for its sixth edition in November, and the detail that decides your day is that it closes in the middle of it.
The hours, and the trap in them
The event card on the official tourism site gives the hours as 8 in the morning to 10 at night. But the page’s own text below it says something else: 8 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon, and 4 to 10 at night.
Which means there is a closure between 1:30 and 4 that does not appear in the line above. Anyone arriving at 2 finds the doors shut — and that is exactly the hour many people pick to avoid the crowds.

What it gathers
The expo specialises in higher education: public and private universities, colleges, educational institutions, and study-abroad service providers. Alongside the local ones, delegations take part representing study destinations in Britain, the United States, Australia and Europe.
The announcement mentions school visits organised across the four days. That matters to families more than it looks: the mornings will be crowded with school groups, and the evening is quieter for anyone who wants to sit with a university representative and ask without hurrying.
A note on reading it
The expo page is written for exhibitors rather than visitors: its list of benefits addresses educational institutions — “reach thousands of prospective students”, “receive applications and enquiries from qualified students”. There is nothing in it explaining to a student how to prepare or what to bring.
So go with a list: the field you are considering, your grades, the annual budget, and questions about scholarships, admission and recognition of the qualification. Three specific questions to one university representative are worth more than a tour of twenty tables.
