The oil is the detail
The menu states something rarely written down in Kuwait: the fries and onion rings are cooked in peanut oil. It takes higher heat than many vegetable oils, which is why a number of American burger shops use it to get a crunch that survives leaving the fryer, and it is also noticeably more expensive than they are.
There is a second side to this that matters more to some readers than to the rest: anyone with a peanut allergy cannot eat the fries or the onion rings here, even though the burger itself contains no nuts.
The menu also describes the oil as “100 per cent cholesterol free”. The statement is true but distinguishes nothing: every vegetable oil is cholesterol free, because cholesterol occurs only in animal sources.
What is made in the shop
The fries are cut from whole potatoes, not out of frozen bags. The onion rings are sliced thin and dipped in a batter mixed in the kitchen, and come with the barbecue sauce beside them rather than over them, so they do not go soft before they arrive. The pastry for the pies is also made on site.

A burger shop that bakes its own pies
This is not a common habit here. Both pies are wrapped in a laminated pastry made in the kitchen, and each costs 950 fils — under a third of the price of a burger. Along with the burger itself, they are what comes up most often in the restaurant’s Google Maps reviews.
Before you go
No delivery and no aggregator apps. Order through the restaurant’s site and collect from the shop. It is rated 4.3 out of five on Google Maps from 69 reviews, with an average spend recorded there of 1 to 5 dinars a head.
