Three days at the Arena Kuwait for anyone about to become a mother, anyone who has just become one, and anyone with small children. The Mother and Child Expo runs from 24 to 26 September, and entry is free.
The hours
The halls are open every day from 10 in the morning until 10 at night. Twelve hours a day, which is generous for anyone who can only get out after work.
What is in it
The organisers describe the expo as bringing products and services aimed at mothers and their young children into one place, with brands, specialists and interested visitors.
They say what separates it from a conventional trade fair is the focus on direct interaction with visitors rather than display alone. The point is not to walk past the stands, but to ask, try and find out.
Who runs it
The organiser is Fawz Expos, the same company behind the Marzam fair and the Ramadan Marzamiyat fair. Anyone who has been to either knows the style of organisation to expect.
Before you go
The venue is the Arena Kuwait, and entry needs no ticket. The Arena notes that all its official events are listed on its own site, and that anything not appearing there is not one of them. Its only ticket counter is at 360 Mall, mezzanine 2, phone 25362453.
